New Testament As Written (NTW)

Have you ever wondered about the order in which the New Testament was actually written? New Testament As Written (NTW) is a four-week short course in the General study path designed to examine the chronological writing of the New Testament. Through this course, we will discover what is happening in the Roman Empire, the Jewish Community, and the Christian Church during the actual time that each book was written. The suggested audience for this course would include church leaders, the general church membership, and those seeking to learn more about the New Testament and the history of the times during which it was written.

Since New Testament As Written is centered around the New Testament of our Holy Bible, attendees are required to bring their Bible or a good study Bible for use and reference during the class. You may find a good chronological Bible to be very useful also. If you do not have one, Bibles, study Bibles, and chronolical Bibles are available at Christian Book Distributors, Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and other sources. Rev. Payne will be working with the New King James Version (NKJV) of our Holy Bible for the class.

For more information about NTW, please contact Rev. Rickey Payne.

NTW will be held in Classroom 1 in our Paul's Chapel Church facility each Thursday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, beginning February 2nd, 2017 and ending February 23rd, 2017. Registration is now open through 9:00 pm February 23rd, 2017, and is open to anyone but should be of particular interest to all those following the General study or Ordination paths.
